Have you ever wondered why somebody does a certain thing? Why does someone want to be a doctor? Some might say its for the money, others will say its to help people. Same with the military. So why out of all these possibilities the world has to offer, why did I become an artist? I don't get paid to do it, I barely have time for it, I didn't go to school or any of that jazz, so why did I choose a path that is the difficult one?
I hope its because I want to make people feel something when they look at my art. I tend to do a lot of fan art because I want to see certain things those characters do that we don't get to see. Like my Commander Shepard's battle, ( I reference that one a lot because it is the one I am most proud of so far) yea in game you fight brutes and banshees at the end but its so fucking crazy that you are not paying attention to the art of it, you're just trying to survive the game. I want people to feel something when they look at my art, whether its sadness, fear, joy, happiness, or what ever you feel when you see my artwork.
I am saddened that I am not a big shot artist that everyone know's my name and my work. I am getting closer to 30 and I see people younger than me becoming more popular than I am. I chose the hard path because I guess that is just who I am.
So please if you read this and if you have felt something while looking at my artwork please leave a comment on the picture that did that to you and what you felt.
Thanks for your time and please give advice if you have any.
